Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I'm on a roll for Christmas cards. I apologize to those who are still seeing snow.
I spread some embossing paste through a stencil then sprinkled with glitter for
the background. A little glue and glitter brought sparkle to the snowbank.
Dee's Distinctively Jumbo tree cut from plaid paper made the tree and
a couple red cardinals decorate the tree. I've used dimensionals
between the tree's layers so there's lots of dimension to go with the sparkle.
Happy 2nd Birthday to Christmas Craft Creations!

LOVE your plaid tree and little pops of red with the Cardinals Bonnie, and your snowy background is so pretty with all the sparkle! Happy to report that while the temps are still pretty cool here (40's mostly, but they say we'll get up to 50 today!), we haven't had any snow in a week!! YAY!! Hope I didn't just jinx that!! Anyway, lovely, lovely card my friend! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI love that plaid and what a fun tree this is. The touch of red is so pretty with your sparkly, snowy background.
ReplyDeleteI am rally not ready for winter cards and certainly not Christmas cards. But I must say I really like your card. The plaid paper for the tree is quite creative and at a glance it looks more like a textured tree with snow. A touch of red is always welcome!

Your plaid tree is so cute, Bonnie. I love the dimension the stacking gives. I think I went looking for that die last time you used it. So sad it's not available.
ReplyDeleteSuch soft and pretty green tones for the dimensional die cut tree Bonnie, and I love the contrast of the two red cardinal sitting on the branches, and the background using texture paste and glitter has lots of wonderful sparkle, just great for Christmas. x

ReplyDeleteOnly you could give that tree so much character by doing it in plaid. I believe you used it once before since I went looking for it and do think it's retired. It looks fabulous in that paper, Bonnie and love the sparkly background you created for it. This one caught my eye!
ReplyDeleteAdorable. Your b/w plaid tree looks beautiful against all that fabulous glittery stencilled background.
