Artistic in Blue and Tan

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

A CASE of a card we did in class last week using the colors from the

I probably would have never thought to use these colors together, but I
really like them.  And I think my niece will like them too!

The ladies in the class and I love how this stamp makes the flower and leaves
look like watercolor without any water. On this card, I added a little blue watercolor
pencil over the tan leaves to blend them in with the flowers.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Artistically Inked (SU), Sketched Flowers (SSS)
Ink:   Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake
Paper:   Naturals White (ret SU), Natural (MFT), Neenah Solar White
Other:  Artistic Dies (SU), Timeworn Type 3D EF (SU), Caran d'ache Supracolor Pencil (blue)

Enjoy!

  1. Bonnie, this may be my newest favorite of all your makes! Isn't this the most beautiful color combo? Yeah, I know, there's blue - but this greyed-down version flips all my switches!
Love the addition of the white die-cut leaves, and that gorgeous embossing, too!
