Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I have a couple of cards to share today using some Deep Red stamps.
First up is a dragonfly stamped onto patterned paper and cut out.
The paper gave him wings of blue and purple but I added a bit of colored pencils
to his wings to intensify the colors. I colored the flowers with the same pencils.
To add thickness and shine, I smacked him into a VersaMark pad and used
clear embossing to give him some shine.
Color hues is honoring the memory of a Design Team member who
recently passed away from cancer. These were her favorite colors and she loved
gardening, flowers and CAS cards.
a twofer.....
This card was stamped with the Butterfly Flourish stamp in black and
clear embossed. I used blending brushes to add color randomly around the piece.
Such a simple technique that we're using at CAS Mix Up this month.
Another simple technique to add contrast to the edges of the design piece is
to lay the piece on scrap paper and run a Black Sharpie along the edges.
