Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I hope my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We had a lovely time together and the weather was beautiful.
I'll share some photos at the end of this post.
This card came together from some bits and pieces left over from other projects.
I love it when I can get these on a card instead of the UFO box (which is already almost full again).
It's pretty straight forward. Stamp, stamp and add glitter for a little sparkle.
Challenges:
Penny Black Saturday - ATG/Option of Embellishment (glitter)
I thought I'd share some Thanksgiving pics.
First a view from my kitchen.
With my three girls.
And the grandchildren.
We all live fairly close to each other, but it's a rare and special time if we can
all be together. (The guys were too busy watching and talking sports to join in
the picture taking and Giselle's mom is camera shy.)
Card Recipe
Stamps: Christmas Story Background (PB), Cones & Berries (PB)
Ink: Sahara Sand, Vintage Photo, Brushed Corduroy, Barn Door, Candied Apple (DM)
Paper: Neenah Desert Storm, Neenah Solar White, Cherry Cobbler
Other: Stitched Circle Die (LI OOB), Circle Die (SSS), Glitter (Sweet Poppy)

Beautiful card and lovely family photos. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteYour card is just beautiful...and as well as that stunning fall background for your family photos! Lucky you to have such a great family...and who pose for photos (even though they don't want to!)
ReplyDeleteI love your card, Bonnie. It sent me looking for my stamp and I may be CASEing this, or at least using the stamp, when I can get back to crafting. The colorful foliage in your yard was the perfect background for a family Thanksgiving photo. And what a lovely family it is.
ReplyDelete|A lovely card and your photographs are lovely too Bonnie. What a super family to have, and close by too. Your girls are like you! x
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card and a beautiful family!!
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done with your leftover pieces Bonnie and the background paper goes beautifully with your pretty berries and snowy pinecone. So glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving and some great photos of your lovely family. x
ReplyDeleteIt always feels so good when you are able to make a decent card from left overs. I really like how you have offset your focal image and the lovely dark red borders. Thanks for sharing your Thanksgiving family photos, they are so nice to see. I am also jealous of the view from your kitchen. Stunning xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Christmas card, Bonnie. I love the pinecones with all the glitter and the background. LOVE the photo of you with your 3 girls and your grandkids that are all growing up. You have a beautiful family, my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy
ReplyDeleteYou say the card was simple using bits and pieces but your talent is design! Love this and what a lovely family you have. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteStunning card and what a beautiful family! SO special to have everyone together!

ReplyDeleteWOW! Lovely Christmas card. I love this winter bouquet and how you composed this card. Thank you for this great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving at your home must have been a joyful one. You have great reasons to feel happy when you are surrounded by such a wonderful family. Family is perhaps our greatest and most precious value in life.

Lovely photos from your family's Thanksgiving! And a lovely Christmas card - great layout with the edge cut off the image circle (I never think to do that. And the background stamp stands in perfectly for the usual sentiment stamp.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful stamp, both foreground and background! Love how the Sahara Sand looks for the script. A woodsy, warm, and gorgeous Christmas card! Love that you shared the home and family pics, too. You're so lucky to have those three beautiful girls and all the grands. What nice group photos. It does look like you had perfect weather for Thanksgiving. I don't know what I would do without a bunch of trees outside my windows. You have a lovely view!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique and beautiful card Bonnie, and I love your photos - nothing quite like the family all together, it is s o special

A great card with a great background stamp. Wow, that view of the tree is awesome and shows off the beauty of God's work. I love the pictures of you and your daughters and the grands. What a wonderful day for you.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky! Three daughters - you have hit the jackpot!! Love the pictures of the grandkids. I did not think I missed North Carolina until I saw the picture of your backyard. That is indeed the North Carolina I remember!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is delightful - love the pinecone.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL card Bonnie and you've just gotta love it when all the pieces are already there and all you have to do is assemble!! And your family pictures are wonderful too, and how beautiful it looked outside with all the colors still in the trees! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and beautiful family. Love that you shared them. We went to the triplets' home for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. My sister's son came down and Ramie's sister's family also.
ReplyDeletePretty card, and I love the use of the sentiment stamp for the b/g -- a perfect place for your pretty berries, pinecone & branches. Terrific looking family, and definitely a blessing when you can gather together!
ReplyDeleteThis card is gorgeous Bonnie! I am so loving that image, it looks and feel frosty and the background is so cool with all the writing. Love that! Love the view from your kitchen window, our leaves are gone now. Well, yesterday's strong winds took care of the last tree. Love the photo of you with the girls, so sweet! And of course the grands look great! Frame worthy photos for sure! Glad to hear you had a great Thanksgiving! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Unbelievable that it was made from leftovers… then again, the cards that you’ve made with items from your UFO box is AMAZING! So I take that back… not so unbelievable. 😂*lol*
