A dear friend shared some of her poinsettia die cuts with me.
I had so much fun playing with them!
First up some metallic watercolor on this fantastic embossed background that the same
dear friend sent. (I think this is my favorite of the bunch!)
Another die cut colored with metallic watercolor.
The entire front is embossed even though it doesn't look like it here.
This time I smooshed the flower layers in watered down Distress ink and placed
it on a die cut background that had been sitting in my stash for ages.
Had to have a red poinsettia! This time I smooshed the layers in Festive Berries
and Candied Apple Distress inks and added some snowy splatters.

Oh my goodness, Bonnie, these are amazing! The embossed backgrounds add just the right amount of texture and the metallic watercolor has wonderful shine. I've been looking for a new poinsettia die and you may have pushed me in the WF direction.

ReplyDeleteFabulous quartet of cards, Bonnie! Those poinsettias look amazing on all the different embossed backgrounds you chose - I can see why you'd love card one with the rich red bg. I think my fave is card three with the starry diamonnd embossing. But all so gorgeous!!

These are really beautiful poinsettia cards, Bonnie! Oh my word, the first one has my jaw dropped! The white with metallic watercolor is stunning, and the red background just oozes deliciousness. Each card has its own special qualities. Wow!
