Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I promised to be back soon with the bird from the Wplus9 Vintage Ephemera.
Here he is...
I've paired him with the Scripted Background stamp from the same company.
It's been inked with Bundled Sage DOX ink and spritzed before stamping.
The bird was inked with Distress Markers and the color moved around with a damp brush,
then fussy cut when dry.
I used the Eclipse Technique to cut a heart from the background and cut another
from a bit of foam. Glued together and put back in, it gives added dimension.
Finally I added my favorite die cut pine boughs and a sentiment from another
Wplus9 set.

Your sweet and thoughtful comments warm my heart!
Oh, I do love your Bluebird, Bonnie! Love the scripty paper you've created and of course he deserves this sweet heart!
ReplyDeleteWe often see them perched at the very tip top of our pine tree so those favorite pine boughs are quite appropriate!
An exquisite card, my friend - thanks for sharing it with us today!

OMGoodness, I love everything about this card Bonnie! It is a stunner plus it has a bird and you are soooo good with your bird images! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteVery pretty vintage style card. Love the background you created and the Eclipse heart is perfect for the lovely bluebird to rest on, along with the pine branch. Love everything about your card. TFS
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Bonnie! That bluebird is SO pretty and I just knew Michele was going to love it...she gets the prettiest real life bluebirds at her house!! I love your background too and the die cut heart and pine branches also. Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing better than seeing this marvelous blue bird on your card is the one that was in my bird feeder yesterday. I have never seen any here before and I was ecstatic. I only hope he comes back. The heart, scripty stamp and my favorite pine branch gave him a perfect place to perch. This is such a fabulous card, Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteVERY pretty card and I love the font on that sentiment. Just beautiful!

Loving this vintage look, Bonnie! I'm noting your script background technique. It has never occurred to me to spritz a script stamp, but I love the look of it. Pretty with the raised heart and, of course, that beautiful bird and branch.
ReplyDeleteThis is a delightful beautiful card Bonnie, and the prettily coloured bird and pine branches look great over the raised up heart cut out of the background, and the watery script works brilliantly. x
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely on a roll at the moment, yet another perfect little card. Well done xx
ReplyDeleteLove this card with the bluebird die cut. Gorgeous colouring. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you nestled him into the pine! He's quite handsome, Bonnie and this is a wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Bonnie! I love the beautiful blue bird. The background is terrific with the stamped script and the popped up heart.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card Bonnie - love the eclipse treatment of the heart - it adds subtle dimension and looks amazing - that is a great technique you have used to enhance the heart without overpowering the rest of the card. A sweet bird image and beautifully coloured too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Maxine

ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I like the distressed look. Always a fan of the eclipse die cut technique.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and beautiful bird. Unfortunately, the translator doesn't do a good job and I don't quite understand how you colored this bird. It looks really stunning.
