Two gorgeous cards Bonnie! I especially like the splash of green foliage on the first. I love that you share my love of birds on cards! Not content with fill up my EF wish list, you've also inspired a whole wishlist of birds!! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day, Bonnie! You're telling me Bluebird die and I'm seeing you've turned it into a gorgeous Thrush! How extraordinary he is! Just fantastic, my friend!
ReplyDeleteAnd the double embossing? You are so very clever and talented!

Fantastic man cards!
ReplyDeleteThose pretty red birds on the embossed trees for grandson are so sweet and made a great card. I love the hearts on both cards and the embossing folder on hubby's card.
ReplyDeleteI love these, they are so good for men and not your usual valentines, even though they have hearts. Thanks for the inspiration xx
ReplyDeleteBoth are perfect for the guys in your life Bonnie and I love that you used birds to celebrate this love day with! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI just got that bluebird die but haven't used it yet. I love how you made it into a wren, Bonnie. What a great idea to double emboss the backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful Valentines, Bonnie! Love that heart die and love the die frame on the first card. How neat to include the birds too. Excellent design!
ReplyDeleteLove how you used the birds and the tree folder for some masculine Valentine's, they turned out wonderful! Thanks for sharing with us at Can You Handle the Pressure.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore your second card -- love the red and white but I have always been partial to red and white cards. It's kind of like the little basic black dress - what's more basic than red and white!
ReplyDeleteSandy xx
Two amazing Valentines for the guys in your life Bonnie! I am so loving that "wood" heart die cut. Of course I love the bird on your hubby's card, so sweet and cute looking sitting on the pine branch. Perfect embossing folder you used on both cards. Your grandson's card is perfect for a guy. Love the "love" scripty die and of course the birds. I'm sure the men in your life loved their cards! Happy Valentine's Day! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBravo for the pretty results on the double embossing! Two marvelous valentines for your guys!
ReplyDeleteTwo great masculine designs for Valentines! Interesting - you used birds on them, and I just posted a Valentine with a bird on it! I love the use of the birch tree embossing folder - a perfect choice to go with birds. And great card designs / layouts on both cards.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, and I love all that texture -- from the heart to the trees, to the beautiful birds, these are beautiful cards

Ahhh, I can never get enough of bird cards, whether stamps, dies, whatever! Add the greenery and woodland elements and it's heavenly to my eyes. Your Bluebird/Carolina Wren could also be one of the Pine Siskins that abound in our area. It's Everybird! What a great die!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful that you are surrounded by the men you love, Bonnie :-) Two wonderful cards that definitely express your love.

ReplyDeleteTwo great valentines for your hubby and grown up grandson Bonnie, and perfect with the trees embossing in the background of both, and the added hearts and different sets of die cut birds go beautifully. The added ornate edged frame and the green pine branch on the first work well, and the little perching birds on the second look great too. x
ReplyDeleteYour cards are stunning, Bonnie. They always are. That bird die is lovely and the green sprigs are such a great touch. Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Four Seasons Challenge. It's always a treat to have you play along.
