Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
A special card for a sweet friend.
I believe she likes purple and I'm loving these Alstroemeria dies.
I watercolored the flowers with Distress Markers and my waterbrush.
You can tell that I colored the flowers at different times. LOL.
Isn't it funny how that can make such a big difference?
But no two flowers are exactly alike so we'll go with these.
I hope she enjoys this card as much as I enjoyed making it for her.

ReplyDeleteI never even noticed the difference in the two flowers till I read your description Bonnie...all I know is that both of them are beautifully water colored! Lovely, lovely card...your friend will LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThese alstroemeria flowers are really beautiful Bonnie, and I did see one was a bit darker than the other but when colouring even if you did them at the same time they don't always end up exactly the same as this is the nature of watercolour, and as you say no two flowers look alike, and the diamond embossing looks so pretty in the background, and love that you added the pearls to the centres of the flowers...a terrific card! x
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful as always Bonnie.
