Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I've been seeing butterflies. Outside and inside.
My favorite way to do backgrounds these days is with a 3D embossing
folder, colored cardstock and white ink.
This time I used kraft cardstock and the ink direct from the inkpad to
the raised images.
The butterfly was hot foiled on mixed media paper and watercolored
using re-inker.
Then I went over it with Wink of Stella.
It is VERY sparkly and shiny!

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous and so elegant Bonnie and I must give this a try as the white on the kraft is sensational, and love your pretty added butterfly. Wishing you a Happy Easter. x
ReplyDeleteWow! This is a gorgeous card Bonnie! I am loving that background, the kraft card with the white ink is just so pretty. Love, love, love the foiled butterfly and the watercoloring of it. I can imagine the shine of the foiling with the Wink of Stella is simply so gorgeous in person! I haven't seen any outside butterflies quite yet, but they are coming soon I know. The birds sure are tweeting and I love the sounds first thing in the morning...it is definitely spring around here, some days leaning to summer with temps in the mid 80's! Love it! But back to cool the next three days and I'm not loving that. LOL Happy Easter Bonnie! Hugs, Brenda
