Snowy Scene and Peace

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Another Christmas card for the stash.

This background was done with inky paper towel pressed onto cardstock.

The trees were die cut from smooshed sheets in my background box.

The snowman was die cut from a snippet of white cardstock and glittered up
with a very old bottle of Dazzling Diamonds.  In fact I glittered up the whole scene
with that glitter glue and it was the devil to get a decent photo!

How about a twofer...

No stamping on tis one, just dry embossing, die cutting and some more of that
ancient glitter glue, this time in gold.

The peace is cut from gold foil cardstock as well as the mat.

  2. Pretty scene with the paper towel background. The poinsettia card is beautiful, Bonnie with just that touch of gold. I think glitter glue is the best way to add glitter to a card. It doesn't blow all over!

  3. Love the colour palette of the first one - the trees done in burgundy and mauve/grey look fabulous (I'd never have thought of doing trees in those colours but I love them!). The second card is so elegant and classy.

  22. Isn't it fascinating that non-traditional Christmas colors work well on Christmas cards? Your map is a good example of this, everything looks coherent and the trees look great in this color.
I am very happy that you are playing with Jo and me at the Kickstart Challenge. Gundi
