Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I've been busy making Halloween cards but took a break to
do a Christmas card.
When I saw the Color Hues challenge was Blue & Coral, I immediately thought
of bluebirds and berries.
I die cut this Chickadee from watercolor paper and by leaving the cap off
I could make it into a bluebird.
I used Distress Markers and my waterbrush to do the coloring on the bird and
the berry branch. I did a second coat on the berries to give them a reddish look.
Then I added some sparkle paste to the berries to give this a frosty feel.
The embossing folder has an area in the middle for a sentiment and since it's
a double size embossing folder, it's easy to emboss to have the perfect spot for
a sentiment.
Challenges:
Color Hues #73 - Coral and Blue
Peace on Earth Christmas - ATG Christmas
I'll be back with some Halloween cards soon.
