Red Poppies

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Another image from my UFO box.  It's a digital image colored with Copic Markers
and tossed into the box.  It's probably been waiting to find a place on a card for
at least 2 years, maybe 4!

Challenges:
Darnel's IDEAS - A is for Anything Goes
Seize the Birthday #278 - Used option of Red as main color
Triple B - Blossoms

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Poppy Digital (Power Poppy)
Ink:   Early Espresso
Paper:   Neenah, Early Espresso
Other:  Copic Markers (R35, R30, R29, R24, YG93, YG95, E25, E29), Caran d'ache Supracolor Pencils (226 Crimson, 49 Umber, 239 Sprice), Stitched Rectangle Die (SSS), Stately EF

Enjoy!

  10. I thought I had a large UFO box, Bon, but by any chance, is your UFO box a whole closet? I just had to tease you, but I'm also very proud of you for working so diligently through it and making lots of sensational cards! This gorgeous poppy is composed properly: in a frame! Thank you for inspiring me and joining me, my little friend! Hugs, Dolly

  16. Your poppies are really beautiful Bonnie, and I love the Stately EF used in the background and cutting it with the stitched rectangle and with the added black matted layer it stands out brilliantly and love the black stamped sentiment to finish. x

  20. How wonderful that these gorgeous red poppies have found a home! Gosh, I never have colored images in my card parts drawers. Mine look more like junk drawers compared to what yours must look like. Now you've got me rummaging through my frame embossing folders because the Stately looks so elegant. I must stay focused as I work through my NBUS...

  25. I'm so glad you found this beautiful image in your UFO stash. At first I thought it was watercolor, but you wrote that you used alcohol markers. This painting is truly beautiful, the strong colors contrast wonderfully against the white panel, and the black frame draws the eye even more to it. Beautiful inspiration, my dear Bonnie.
