This background was made using Leafy Green Paper Glaze through a stencil.
It has a wonderful shine to it!
A couple of dragonflies cut from an alcohol inked piece and a snippet of vellum
and this design was done.

CAS and oh so pretty Bonnie! I'm loving all the shine on the leaves and the hitch-hikers as Michele calls them!! A perfect card for someone who needs to be lifted up! Hugs. :0)

ReplyDeleteBonnie, I am not familiar with that glaze, but I know you have used it beautifully - those stenciled stems look 'inlaid!' What a gorgeous color, too - no wonder those darling hitchhikers stopped by!

Today's card... will lead me down a CASE path (for not the first time) to think about the simplicity of dragonflies for an encouragement design for a cancer support group for which I make cards. Such an airy card, with lots of white space. I love the contrast of colors, the shimmering greenery and the deep blue on the dragonfly's wings.
