Bough of Holly

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

We're halfway through September and Christmas is just around the corner.

I used my favorite holly die cut for this card.  It's so easy to watercolor.
(Just remember to do the berries after the leaves.)

I've placed some embossed holly in the aperture and subtle embossing on the
aperture piece.

Challenges:
ABC Christmas - T is for Traditional Colors
Krafty Chicks #733 - Christmas
Penny Black Saturday - Not a Square with Penny Black Products
Darnell's I.D.E.A.S. - E is for Embossing Folder

Card Recipe
Stamps:
Ink:   Pine Needles, Vintage Photo, Candied Apple (DM)
Paper:   Watercolor, Neenah Solar White
Other:  Holly & Berry Branch Die (PB), Circle Die,, Holly Branch EF (TH), Sholiday Sentiments 2 Foil Plate (Spl), Subtle EF (ret SU)

Enjoy!

  17. How I love the rich contrast and texture on this card. I may just have to have that die. But I don't consider any watercoloring simple by a long shot. This is such a gorgeous card!

  18. This is one of my favorite holly dies, too, Bon, and I love the hues of your greens and reds and the addition of the snow! (I hope I can remember that!) It stands out beautifully over the embossed aperture! I appreciate you joining this week's IDEAS prompt with your e/f! Hugs, Dolly
