Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It's been a really busy week but I found a few minutes to make a card.
I used the sketch that Jen T. offered up at Freshly Made Sketches.
It's perfect for using some of that hoard of papers in my stash.
I'm afraid that nearly everything used on this card is no longer available.
But it's a great sketch to use up some of that paper. I think I might make some more.
Challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches #683 - See below
Krafty Chicks #765 - Masculine
Love Those Pretty Papers - Use patterned paper (did not use the option of Springtime)
The Male Room #197 - Geometric (I have squares and diamonds)
Card Recipe
Stamps: All Occasions (Jane's Doodles)
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Cinnamon Cider, Gold Foil, World of Good Specialty Paper (ret SU)
Other: Gold EP, Sailing Home Die (ret SU), Twine (?)

ReplyDeleteMasculine cards can be beautiful and this is a perfect example of that. Wonderful papers and the anchor suggests the notion of sailing to far off lands. The sketch is a great way to use some of those papers. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great masculine card Bonnie, and I love the map and black and gold dp and then the gold anchor over the top, and all edged in gold to coordinate beautifully, and placed on the cinnamon coloured background card which goes perfectly, and finished with a lovely gold sentiment..a great style of card for using up some papers. x
