Stencil Happy

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Seeing a couple of stencil challenges, I thought it was high time to put
some of that stash of stencils to use.


I wanted to go bright and happy.  I think I succeeded.

I used the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches.  I hope this is CAS enough.  

Using a stencil and sketch took me out of my comfort zone.

It was fun!

Ink:   BP Black (SB), Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Abandoned Coral (DI)
Paper:   Neenah Solar White Pattern Paper (DB)
Other:  Fading Florals Stencil (SSS), Caran d'ache Supracolor Pencils (Naples Yellow, Dk Carmine, Sepia)

  1. Oh, Bonnie, I don't think there is a zone out there that you would not be comfortable in - today's card proves it! I love the bright happy colors you've brought to your stenciled blooms - somebody's birthday is about to get happier!

  8. Oh, gosh, I have this stencil and I love it! You made it look extra special pretty! The border of gingham with it is perfect. Happiest card I've seen all day. It shines out beautifully in the gallery at STB!

  18. Fabulous bright flowers Bonnie, beautifully stencilled, and I love the check pattern wih the plain textured green added down the side, and some pretty yellow sequins and a lovely sentiment too. x
