It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues. Here's my card...
This time our lovely Carol has chosen these colors for us to use....
The flamingo was cut from a pale pink cardstock and I brushed some darker
pinks over the body and wing. Doing the face and beak was a little fiddly and
since then I have decided it's much easier to use a Sharpie for the beak and eye.
Now let's go over to Color Hues and see what the my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designer Arlene have done to inspire you.
I hope you'll create a card using Pink and Grey and add it to the gallery at
Please only use hues of these two colors. Neutrals are welcome.
Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on August 14th.

Beautiful in the two tones of pink! And what a perfect choice of embossing folder - it adds a real tropical feel.

ReplyDeleteAwwwwww...could this card be any cuter?!! Your flamingo is adorable and I think the sharpie is a great idea for the eyes and beak...those fiddly teeny tiny pieces are hard for me too! Love the embossed swirls in the background and the grey piece for your sentiment rounds out this color pairing perfectly!! LOVE it!! Hugs. :0) P.S. ReplyDeleteOh, that fabulous embossing folder and the lovely Gladys! So beautiful together. Your Sharpie worked great for those tiny parts. I do the same thing in many cases. How perfect this is for the pink and gray combo. I love it to pieces!
