Mistletoe Joy

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Another week and weekend have flown by.
Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye.

I have upended Jen T's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  You can see the sketch
below.  I hope I haven't veered too far from it.

I've die cut the branch from watercolor paper and colored with Distress re-inkers.

The sentiment is on some stacked circles and arranged it all on an embossed background.

Challenges:

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Tin of Tags (ret SU)
Ink:   Bundled Sage (DOX)
Paper: Neenah Solar White, Sage Shadow (SU), Watercolor (Fabriano), Red Foil
Other:  Bold Bird Branches EF (SSS), Mistletoe Bundle die (MB), SU re-inker (Sage Shadow), Circle Thin Frames (SSS), Stitched Circle die (SSS)

Enjoy!

  2. Love the sage color - I guess that is a 3D embossing folder you used. The embossed background is fabulous! The more I look at your card the more I love that color - so soft. Just now noticed the red twine - I was so caught up looking at the background.

  5. Such a pretty leafy embossed background to your terrific mistletoe adorned circular sentiment , and perfectly finished with the red twine bow and added red instead of white berries on the mistletoe...very eye catching Bonnie. x

  12. Yes, the blink of an eye... and here I sit. You surely will be ready with the cards as I've seen so many really lovely ones here. Your sketch may be flipped, but it's still the same. You did a beautiful job with it. Love the soft colors and embossing and, of course, the pretty mistletoe draping down!
