The Work of Christmas
When the song of the Angel is stilled,
When the Star in the sky is gone,
When the Kings and princes are home,
When the Shepherds are back with their flock,
The work of Christmas begins:
To Find the lost - To Heal the broken - To Feed the hungry -
To Release the prisoner - To Rebuild the nations -
To Bring Peace among brothers and sisters -
To make music in the Heart.
By Howard Thurman
I pray that we will work together to bring peace to our brothers and sisters
and hear the music in our hearts in order to celebrate the gift of Christ Jesus.

ReplyDeleteI second your wish to bring peace to the earth. I love your card - the sky is so beautifully done in those lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card, Bonnie! I love these colorful ripples, creating streaks of colored light. A perfect backdrop for the black silhouettes of the three kings marching to greet the newborn Jesus.
ReplyDeleteWe all dream of a world that is kind to all people. A world that is welcoming. Unfortunately, there are greedy and conscienceless people who don't care about the well-being of others; they only care about accumulating wealth. How do we rid our planet of these parasites??? This question has been troubling me for a very long time. I wish for all of us that these beings leave our ranks as soon as possible, and I'm already happy knowing that they won't take with them anything they've so stubbornly hoarded their entire lives.
Bonnie, I wish you peace and tranquility. May Jesus and his teachings guide you.
xx
