Happy Birthday Luke

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I hope you are all still safe and warm.  It looks like we may
get another punch of winter weather.  Ooph!

That little guy that we spent our days with when I retired has grown up.
It doesn't seem possible that he is a man now!

I used the Monarch size for his birthday card, cutting it a little bigger to
allow for a pocket inside to hold some cash.

The streamers and trophy dies are from the Greetery and I used scraps of
cardstock and gold foil to cut them from.  All are placed on a Happy Birthday
embossed background.

Here's a peek at the inside.

I'll tuck a piece of money into the pocket before we give it to him.

Challenges:
Seize the Birthday #319 - Topping of Rainbow Colors

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Various Birthday
Ink:   A rainbow of colors
Paper:   Tranquil Teal (GKD), Scraps of cardstock and matte gold foil
Other:  Happy Birthday EF (CB), Twisted Crepe dies (Grtry), Trophy die (Grtry freebie)

Enjoy!

  2. These streamers look fantastic! The golden cup is a great start to a new chapter in life. May your grandson have the best of everything in life! Now that's what I call a richly decorated card!! I'm sure he'll appreciate both its artistic appeal and all its other richness. A wonderful card for his eighteenth birthday!

  6. Great decorations for an 18th Birthday, Bonnie! I think you've started a fad, everyone should get a trophy for making it to 18, right? Your flap on the inside is pretty great too -- or would that be the present inside?!
