Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues.
This month my friend Jules P. chose the colors. What pretty colors they are too.
She chose....
I used a much loved Penny Black stamp and die for this card. It was stamped on
mixed media paper and colored with Zig Brush Markers.
I die cut twice with the matching die and glued together for stability.
The sentiment from the same set was stamped on a strip layered on a teal strip.
I always love using embossed backgrounds and this time I chose a Penny Black
texture embossing folder and added two Hexagon frames also from Penny Black.
Now let's go and see what my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designer Gundi have done to inspire you.
I hope you'll create a card using Peach and Teal and add it to the gallery at
Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on February 28.
I'm also adding this to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
Card Recipe
Stamps: Peaceful Time (PB)

Paper: Mixed Media (Strathmore), Neenah Solar White, Tranquil Teal (GKD)

ReplyDeleteGreat way to incorporate the colours Bonnie and I love the background texture and the hexagonal frames are inspired. :)
ReplyDeleteThe background is brilliant. The hexagonal frames make it look like the card is centered. A wonderful choice for these colors; your bird looks perfect, and the sentiment on the turquoise frame beautifully reinforces both the sentiment and the branch with the bird. A great design.
