I hope all of you are keeping warm. I think we broke another low record here today. It sure is cold! Brrrr!
This is a card we did at our Papercrafting group a couple of weeks ago. It was quick and simple and a favorite with all the ladies.
There are so many Valentine themed challenges that this fits.
The Card Concept is Lesley's (Always Playing with Paper) latest challenge. The idea is to define what kind of cards we like to create. You can check at the challenge site for the definition of the different styles. I think I'm between CAS and Clean and Layered. It depends on my mood and how the elements come together. I don't really think about what I'm doing. LOL, that's too much trouble! I would say that this card is CAS even though it has one layer.
I've added texture with an embossing folder.
CAS on Sunday is going LOVELY DOVEY. Make a card for love/Valentine's Day.
Curtain Call's challenge this time is
I have the heart and the letters love!
Cuttlebug Mania says ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE
Pixie's Snippet Playground is the place to take our snippets. The hearts were cut from snippets.
That's what I call spreading the love around.
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted
Card Recipe

Beautiful CAS card Bonnie, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteBonnie what a pretty CAS card, those dangling hearts are so sweet! Thank you so much for joining us both at the Curtain Call and the Card Concept!
ReplyDeleteWhat a Gorgeous card Bonnie! Love the all white and the red hearts steal the scene... Be careful and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteLove this card, so very elegant and the embossing adds such a pretty detail!
ReplyDeleteWell, this pretty red & white is DEFINITELY your style. For somebody who says they don't 'think about it', you sure come up a winner with each card. I'm looking at this MB die and saying "Do I have this one?" cause it is just totally beautiful against the cream (or maybe it's white, but looks cream on my monitor). Love the elegant embossing too. Hope you're all better now and we had 17 last night, with 20 at 11am. Brrr. No wind though, just cold air. Lovely sunshine, crisp if you were out just a few minutes. We had a beautiful drive out in the country, looking for a dump (old hot water heater take-away) and it was really pretty if you were in a nice warm pkup, enjoying the views & the sunshine. Happy weekend, & TFS
ReplyDeleteVery elegant looking. I have those dies and never know what to do with them! Thanks for the inspiration. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
Lynn

ReplyDeleteHey Bonnie - my name is Sandy and I live between Brevard, North Carolina and Cedar Mountain, North Carolina. I was born and reared here in these gorgeous mountains. I love your card - I really am very fond of clean and simple and red and white. You just gave me an idea for a Christmas card using the snowflakes. Is that okay with you? I will give you credit. My daughter and her family live in Raleigh.
