A sweet friend sent me this die for my birthday.
I've had a great time playing with it!
The current Addicted to CAS challenge is
I didn't think I had any chevrons.
But I found the stamp I used on this card.
Then I remembered a NBUS stencil of broken chevrons.
So I pulled out the neglected embossing paste and got busy.
The palm leaves were die cut from a piece of saturated watercolor.
The hello comes from a retired SU set.
It took longer to find the perfect sentiment than to do everything else!
Sometimes I just leave off a sentiment because I can't decide which to put on the card!
Over at the Addicted to Stamps Challenge this week
they're looking for
CLEAN AND SIMPLE CREATIONS
I want to make a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT here.

She will ship them internationally (mine are on their way).
Ooh, I cant wait to get mine!
The Australian currency is a bit different than other countries,

Hi Bonnie, It's so nice to "meet" you. I loved your comment and especially the part about "if it's sent it passes the pleasure along". That's very sweet and so true. I truly do love this blogger community. This card is so pretty. The palm leaf die is great and I love the color just tipped on the ends. It looks so nice paired with the chevrons.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, LOVE that die!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design, Bonnie. I love the chevrons in the background! Thank you so much for the shout out for Happy Little Stampers. You are the best! xx

ReplyDeleteVery classy card. Love the chevrons with the embossing paste.
ReplyDeleteI really like this card Bonnie and I can see ideas for other cards. Recently I purchased my first leaf-type die cut and I have only used it once. But I can see me playing with my Brushos and the die cut and an embossing folder - boy I sound creative at 6:30 am. Your posts are always enjoyable and inspiring :) Barb
ReplyDeleteYour ferns and chevrons go together perfectly, Bonnie! Well done with the paste, too, for adding lovely texture! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
