There's a new challenge at
I inked up the large butterfly from the Flora and Fauna 2 set with Archival Black ink
and stamped it on a snippet of watercolor paper.
Then I pulled out my new (squeel) Zig Clean Brush Markers
and colored it up!
I found that these markers blend so easily.
I have the 12 pack set so my colors are limited.
I love the vibrant colors!
I cut a mask for the butterfly, placed it on the dry watercolor,
and stamped with the French Script background stamp.
I used the MISTI for stamping on the watercolor paper.
I rarely get a good stamping on the first pass.
Check out the other DT cards. They are AMAZING!
Then use a mask and join us at
You have the whole month.
I'm also joining in again at
ANYTHING GOES
This is still my oldest (and only) Wplus9 set.
Hoping to rectify that ASAP!

ReplyDeleteMiss Bonnie, I love your butterfly--so very very bold!!!!! glad to hear you were able to use your MISTI on watercolor paper. I tried that and had to stamp a few times which isn't unexpected but the smearing afterwards wasn't fun. I should have let it dry--impatient me! :)
