We have a new challenge at
Deanne (Three Trees (paper) Creations) is our hostess this week.
isn't this fun.
This was a good excuse to pull out my NBUS
Warm Wishes poinsettia stamp from Penny Black.
I stamped it with VersaMark on hot press watercolor paper
and clear embossed it.
Then I used some Distress Markers and my Aqua Painter to color it up.
To do the wash on the background, I swiped the markers on
an acrylic block, picked up the ink with the Aqua Painter and
dropped the color on wet paper. (Wet on wet.)
I die cut the word joy twice from a snippet of
Neena 110 lb. cardstock and once from
Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
Stacking them up gave the word more dimension.
I cut the Glimmer frame with my paper cutter.
Now it's your turn.
I hope you'll create a Christmas card using pastel colors
and join us at
I'd also like to enter this at

ANYTHING GOES
Thanks for visiting.
Enjoy!

I've got this stamp, but I've never made it look this beautiful! The watercoloring is lovely, and I'm really liking the way you've done it in the frames & apertures. So very pretty. TFS & Hugs (and I finally got some of the hot press w/c but not had time to try it yet).

ReplyDeleteYour card is amazing! I watch this flower through the cold morning air. When the image is slightly misty because of the night fog. All this gives a nostalgic look amazing ... I love it!
