Paper Piecing for Happy Little Stampers

It's time for another challenge at

Here's the challenge

and there's a prize for the winning card!

I have a love/hate relationship with Decorative Paper.

I love to buy it.

Hate to use it.

So I dipped into my hoard  stash and found some Fall colored papers.

It didn't hurt at all.

The rest of the Design Team has some awesome inspiration
and we have a fantastic Guest Designer too
so do go check out the challenge.

I hope you'll pull out some of your papers and join us at

also going to enter at

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

I'm so glad you stopped by.

Enjoy!

  9. What a great use for designer paper. I go through the same thing -- buy because I like it but never know an interesting way to use it....now I do! Thanks as always for another great idea and good looking sample of success....

  12. I'm exactly like you, Bonnie, when it comes to dp - love/hate relationship sums it right up! I made a goal this year to make one card a week using up some of my stash - but didn't manage to stick to it! So I might need to cull some more! Or try lots of paper piecing - not a technique I do very often, but I sure do like your results so must give it a try. You chose such a perfect paper for your gorgeous autumn flower!

  13. Oh Bonnie, what a lovely image, so patiently fussy cut and pieced together, just so beautiful.
Now, about DSP.....I think like you, I love some of the designs but sometimes the images on both sides are so beautiful that I HATE condemning one side to eternal obscurity so, I don't buy it, if I by decorative paper IT MUST BE ONE SIDED, PERIOD!!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful card

  23. LOL, you crack me up! I'm a paper hoarder too but hate to use it mainly, I think, because I find it hard to incorporate into a CAS card. Too many possibilities! Your card is perfection--love how the embossing created a layered effect

  26. I'm with you Bonnie, have a fair amount of patterned paper but very rarely use it. I must try this more often when I seek out good stamps for the technique. Your flower and stem look great paper pieced, love the scoring detail too. Thanks for also linking up at ATSM x
