I hope you are having a good day.
Just Us Girls is having a photo week.
I chose to use some pink, green and gold.
and
There is a pin dot border on the tag, a gold border around the flower and a border
on the edge of the sentiment piece.
To make this card:
I crumpled up a piece of plain white tissue paper, partially flattened it out and
glued it on some white cardstock.
After it dried, I die cut it with my favorite tag die.
One sweet flower was die cut from gold foil and then
I cut one from some smooshed pink ink
and another from a snippet of Brusho colored cardstock.
I inlaid the pieces, stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on
another piece of the pink and popped them on the
tissue paper tag.
A few rhinestones add a little bling.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

The perfect interpretation of the challenge photo. The gold die cut flower looks amazing against the deep pink. Love that die cut tag with the pin dot edging and the texture of the tissue paper looks great. Beautiful card Bonnie x

ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful texture that tissue adds Bonnie - and your delicate flower stem is beautiful in the gold! Julia xx
ReplyDeleteI love the tissue paper tag so much. The gold is a lovely outline for the gorgeous flower. I understand you being fold challenged as I am box challenged. Every time we had to make a box at a SU class, my friend and I just started laughing. We simply could not figure out the folds and what to cut off. Thanks for the great tip about the post it notes.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of using just plain white tissue paper crumpled up for the background! It adds so much compared to just a piece of white cs. Lovely flower with the gold border.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous CAS design, Bonnie. I love your borders, white tissue paper background on your die cut tag and your pretty die cut flower with your beautiful inlaid pieces. TFS your beauty my friend. Hugs..

so many elements, I love the stained glass effect with the die cut, and that wonderful texture to the tissue paper. Bonnie such a wonderful card :)
ReplyDeleteYou make it sound so simple Bonnie and yet your card is full of detail and absolutely stunning! I thought the flower 'inserts' looked like stained glass, and initially thought you had embossed over, then coloured on acetate to get the effects.
