I'll be joining some friends for our monthly craft group tonight
and thought I'd share what I'll be taking.
First we are swapping anything with a heart.
I pulled out my Memory Box LaRue Heart and some red Glimmer Paper.
The studio is all asparkle again!
For our demo this month each of us is to do a 5 minute demo.
This is mine....
Swipe, swipe, stamp, stamp.
I showed a similar card in this post.
This time I dragged a Distress Ink mini cube across the paper
and didn't emboss the butterflies (too much time) but winked them instead.
It will be interesting to see what the others do.
Usually we take turns doing a demo with a project.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Bonnie, two great cards. I love that swipe technique, such an artsy look :)
ReplyDeletePretty, sparkly hearts ... the girls will love your swap. And your demo is awasome. So artsy and fun. I don't think I could ever demo (or make) something in five minutes. xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous heart card Bonnie and how fabulous is your demo card! You make it look so easy, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous cards Bonnie, both the heart ones and the swipe, swipe, stamp stamp ones!
ReplyDeleteBlessings

I have that intricate heart die and now will be pulling it out. Your sparkly card is so pretty and also loving the dry embossing on the background x Fun idea to do the swap. Your 'demo' cards are fabulous Bonnie. Love the technique and the colours you've used....wonderful butterfly stamp too x
ReplyDeleteBonnie, these are super fantastic! Love the stunning heart. The way you did the second card is sensational. I'm going to have to try that one.

FABULOUS cards Bonnie!! I love the delicacy of that heart die and of course that it is glittery too! And it stands out perfectly against the white embossed background...BEAUTIFUL card!! Your swipe, swipe, stamp, stamp cards are wonderful too! So quick and absolutely perfect...love them!! You must have been the STAR of craft night!! :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sparkly heart card. Your swipe, swipe is a fun technique and makes a pretty card. What a great idea to have everyone do a demo to share.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards...like the Valentine's Day inspiration. And the butterfly cards with the wonderful heartfelt sentiment. Best of all both look fairly easy peasy to do(!)
ReplyDeleteGreat cards here Bonnie, love them all ;) Viv xx
ReplyDeleteBoth / three wonderful cards, love the glittery red heart, it's such a fabulous heart, then the "swipe swipe" cards, you make them sound so simple to do, beautiful colours you chose to use for them too.

Love your CAS designs for your pretty swap cards and your 5 minute technique cards. Sounds like a really fun stamping group, Bonnie. I wish we lived closer! TFS Hugs..
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the direct to paper technique, Bonnie. This is one that I had zero success wtih! Your color combinations are just gorgeous! Such a simple and eye catching design! Love the font of your sentiment too. The heart one looks fabulous with the glitter paper.
ReplyDeleteAll great cards! As someone said in a comment above mine..."I don't think I could every demo a card in 5 minutes...or make a card a card in 5 minutes...smile... Sounds like a fun, creative group that you are a part of...
ReplyDeleteOh I am so loving that red glittery heart card Bonnie! That heart die is just stunning. I also love your demo card, I just love ink swiping and your card is just fabulous! I'm not good at ink swiping, but just might have to try just doing two swipes like you did. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, Bonnie - love that beautiful glimmery red heart and totally love the sentiment on your demo cards (and great idea to use Wink of Stella on the butterfly).
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty heart for Valentine's Day. I sure do like the butterflies...need to try the swipe technique.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty sparkley hearts! And the 5 minute card is a good design for that. I tried a timed challenge once and then ended up cutting myself with scissors. I learnt my lesson about that!
ReplyDeleteWow these are beautiful. Love the red glimmer hearts, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove how you swiped the ink cubes on the second card. I will have to try that. Thanks for sharing.
Love those hearts Bonnie - lucky members of your craft group - they get to see you work live and in person!
ReplyDeleteSandy xx
It sounds like a fun group to be part of, Bonnie. They'll love your red sparkly hearts and the swipe method looks great and one I'll have to try.
ReplyDeleteYour sparkly heart cards are beyond pretty! And I love the swiping technique on the butterfly cards! Have to try this!
