There's still time to join us at CAS Watercolour.
This month's challenge is
We always need birthday cards!
I did this watercolor with a stamp that was a gift from a dear friend.
I inked it with Distress Stains, then used my waterbrush to move the color.
I put some stain on my palette and picked up to add some darker shading.
You may notice that I added some brown to the leaves and lightly to the flower,
My flowers always seem to have brown on them!
Finally, I pulled out some of the color around the edges.
The sentiment was gifted to me from another dear friend.
The die cut design is popped up on a piece of foam.
Our Design Team is joined this month by the very talented
Birgit (Rapport fran ett skrivbord).
When I saw this photo for the challenge at Inkspirational,
I saw the lovely pink flowers.
So I'm taking this over there.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

This coloring of the rose and leaves looks so real with the various shadings and touches of brown. You have much success using the Misti for this type of stamp and coloring -- it is still a work in progress for me(smily face).
