I have a Twofer
They are similar but different.
(Hopefully not too similar)
Twofer Challenge #2
I used a NBUS heart die from Concord and 9th
This first card uses Loll's Splash Watercolour Background
with a white die cut heart to make an encouragement card that I think
would be especially good for someone fighting cancer.
This one is cut from a piece of watercolor background on popped on a textured card base.
I inlaid all those little pieces in. It was like doing a jigsaw puzzle.
Perfect to send to someone I love.
It's also perfect for our
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Both of these are absolutely wonderful Bonnie!! I love the heart die you used...SO pretty! I love the look of the white heart against the water color on your first card and then the opposite on the 2nd card and with such lovely colors! I'd say A+ for this challenge my friend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteFab twofer, Bonnie! Just love the inlay on card 1 and the crisp white over watercolor on card two!!

Two very touching, heartfelt cards and such an interesting similarity yet difference. You are so creative, Bonnie....!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. Love those pretty hearts and your water colors look great.
ReplyDeleteBonnie I like both of your twofers and the textured paper looks marvelous.
ReplyDeleteBoth your cards are absolutely Gorgeous, Bonnie. What a beautiful heart die and your designs really show off their versatility. A tip for you..if you add a piece of Press & Seal under your CS before you die cut your hearts, all the pieces stay in place and then you do not have to put them all back like a jigsaw puzzle. That is what I do when they are all tiny and many pieces:-) TFS my frind. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteBonnie, these are really quite lovely! That's an amazing heart, and I love how you've left the first one white, letting the background shine, and I do love the reverse look, too! The watercoloring on both is really pretty and I love the colors you've chosen for your cards. Wonderful cards!! Thank you so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a remarkable heart die? I just love how you have designed your Twofers with it, Bon-Bon! Lolly's splash background technique is perfect behind the heart cut-out frame and I agree, it will be great for someone fighting and beating cancer! Your second card with the pieces left in is so gorgeous in the pink and rose and yellow hues! Adding a matching border is genius!! Thank you so much for playing along in Twofer Card Challenge #2!! Hugs, Dolly
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely wonderful these two cards are Bonnie - love them both!!

Two absolutely beautiful heart cards, Bonnie! I love the way you changed directions with the pink and yellow from the heart to the bottom border on your first card, and your splash water color is the perfect combination of color and white space! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
ReplyDeleteIt seems that is a popular heart die, Bonnie, and I love the way you've used it with the wonderful watercolor techniques. You went subtle with the first one and more bold with the second, perfect for the sentiments.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful heart cards Bonnie. Love the colours of your splash watercoloured background ... no surprise there! :) Gorgeous with the heart over top. What a wonderful card of encouragement it would be too. And your watercoloured heart is a beauty. So much patience to place in all those inlaid pieces, but worth it ... it's gorgeous! Thanks for joining us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Bonnie...both have their own unique look...wonderful mf.
