I have another ribbon card for Merry Monday.
In the course of making the mitten card that I shared yesterday,
I scrounged through my ribbon snippets and found this snowflake ribbon.
I immediately visualized another ribbon card.
This one was much quicker!
The snowflakes were already die cut so tying the bow
with the red metallic twine took longer than anything else!
While I was at it.....
Embossing done while creating with a friend.
This one is for Less is More #369
I'm bringing that ribbon back
Two more cards for my Christmas stash.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Just love the snowflake on the snowflake ribbon, Bonnie, and the yummy texture on both cards!! We'll done on finishing two more beauties!
ReplyDeleteLuv the simplicity of both cards. The mittens are adorable and beautifully colored, as you always do, and the snowflake die cuts are perfect choice for the ribbon.
ReplyDeleteFabulous colour combination on your first card, great texture and such a pretty card....love the bow x Gorgeous texture too on your second card and the teal, red and white looks amazing x
ReplyDeleteThe snowflakes are wonderful with that ribbon and woodgrain background, Bonnie. I loved the mittens in brown but they are even more wonderful in teal.
ReplyDeleteOh Bonnie, that red ribbon with snowflakes is beautiful. I love it on the kraft card stock with a lovely white die cut snowflake. I haven't seen that red metallic ribbon used before and it is perfect with this card. The mitten card is so cute.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. The combination of white and red on the basis of paper craft is a very beautiful solution. I love the simplicity of this card. And the second card with gloves looks so sweet. Gloves look beautiful on a pressed background.

Two more FABULOUS cards Bonnie, and with RIBBON!! Thanks so much for sharing again with us at Merry Monday!! :0)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the snowflake card. So beautiful with the sparkles and looks amazing on that thick red ribbon and woodgrain background. Kraft, red and white ... always a winning colour combo! And love your second mitten card with the beautiful dry embossed background. You are on a roll, my friend! xx
ReplyDeleteTwo more wonderful cards Bonnie, Thank you for joining us for Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteYou're really on a roll using up your bits of ribbon! I love both of these, especially the first one. Great idea to have the ribbon run across the top to anchor the snowflakes. Lovely rustic look to the card too.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, love the embossing folder you used in the background, and that bow is a nice touch. Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge.

Love the simple beauty of #1 with the kraft 'planks', pretty ribbon and sparkle snowflake. What a pretty design. But the texture and color in #2 is definitely a scene stealer. I love the way you've got the embossed background with the dimensional mittens in the pierced rectangle. You come up with the best-est designs! TFS
ReplyDeleteOh that ribbon is so cute to go with the pretty snowflake Bonnie! Thanks for playing Merry Monday!
ReplyDeletetwo great cards, love the texture of the background for you mittens which by the way are so much fun and love the Kraft background for your snow flake. I've really got to get that wood plank embossing folder :)
ReplyDeleteBoth beautiful cards, Bonnie! You brought back the ribbons in such a contemporary fashion. Love the embossed background and window design of your mittens card. Thank you for joining us at Less is More. xx
ReplyDeleteGreat cards again Bonnie - love the contrast of the embossing behind the mittens! The snowflakes are gorgeous with the bow of red twine

Ribbons, I nearly forgot about those too. Two beauties for the Christmas season. The red foil string wrapped an the snowflake continue the ribbon's theme. So smart!
ReplyDeleteI especially love those mittens. The white framing and white embossed background truly make us focus on those mits hanging with that vibrant red ribbon. The red sentiment is truly special, beautiful xx
both lovely cards..great textures too.

Congrats on your win at Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteStunning, CAS and brilliant take on our 'bring it back challenge' at Less is More. I've loads of ribbon (used to use it regularly) but hardly at all now! It's too pretty to throw away so perhaps it'll come back and you've certainly showcased it with your clean and simple style. Thanks for joining us at Less is More
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are nice but I really like the mitten card. It really looks as if you could feel the knitted texture - One should be able to wear mittens at Christmas!!
