Since it's April Fool's Day I thought about wishing you Merry Christmas,
but didn't want to start a panic! Hee hee.
I'm guessing you're here to see a card?
Using Rubber Band Stamping, Inking with Markers, Watercolor and Die Cuts
This month, Julia is hosting CAS Mix Up and she chose
I've never used this technique so I was excited to try it!
I wrapped some rubber bands around a spare wood stamp block,
inked and gently stamped several times on a piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock
with the same color ink, changing direction every time I stamped.
I love the subtle background it made!
The tulip were removed from the wood block so I could use the stamp in the MISTI.
I stamped, moved the color with a water brush, and stamped some more.
When I was happy with the image, I wet the paper around the stamping
and pulled some of the color out for a light wash, adding more ink as needed.
