It's time for a new challenge at CAS Christmas.
First, here's my card.
Christine is our host this month and she chose....
I had a piece of splash watercolor using Distress Oxide ink that I
thought would work well for a winter background.
Then I pulled out a tree from the Prancers set and a deer
from the Nature's Friends set and stamped on the
background piece. I used my MISTI so I could stamp
more than once if I needed to. Good thing I did
because I did!
After stamping, I lightly touched the images with a
damp waterbrush.
The snowbank is a torn piece of snippet with
a little shadow colored with a watercolor pencil
and a stamped the sentiment.
Finally, I sprinkled some chunky Frantage on top
of the design and heat set from underneath.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Love this card -- captures the beauty of a winter scene being enjoyed by a regal deer as he reflects on the beauty -- at least that's my take. And once again all those "Bonnie special touches" make it a WOW.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and peaceful. Love the dimension of your snow and the torn snowy landscape. Suitably masculine, but anyone would love this gorgeous card!
