We have a new challenge at CAS Watercolour.
I'm hosting the challenge this month.
The background of this piece was done by sprinkling with Brusho Crystals
and spritzing with lots of water on coated cardstock.
Then I sprinkled Turquoise and Sea Green crystals over a stencil,
spritzed with water and quickly removed the stencil.
You can see some of the bubbles.
Then I made a pool of the same colors spritzed with water on my craft mat
and pressed a script stamp into the puddle to stamp randomly.
You can see it faintly in the top corner.
After cutting the piece down to ATC size, I stamped some coral
in the bottom left corner.
I added some Gina Marie die cuts from different colors and
textures of cardstock.
I couldn't decide on a sentiment so I left it off....for now...
maybe forever....
June is a perfect time to go to the ocean in NC
or in our minds.
I hope to see your ocean card creation at
CAS Watercolour
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Fabulous CAS Ocean card Bonnie, wonderfully interesting effect achieved with all the lovely elements for the background that displays your die cuts beautifully - I wish I had the inner inspiration to see to use these ideas.
ReplyDeleteVery spectacular look to your seawater! It looks very like the water as the sun comes down through it. Great embellies with the seahorse - thought it might be one of the heated copper cuts, but how cool it was done with the SU foil. The sand dollar - again - perfect with this scene. And brilliant idea to stamp the script into the water as faintly as you did. Must look up my sea green brusho! Forgot about this lovely color. TFS & Hugs. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing creation Bonnie - so many techniques in such a small space, and nothing looks over done - it's perfect!
