Today's card was a birthday card for our daughter.
I fell in love with this stamp when browsing through the Unity Stamps site.
I pretty much CASEd a sample card there.
I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the stamp
and it stamped beautifully!
I added some splatters, and clear stones that Starlit Studio added
as a bonus in an order.
This is a large stamp so the card is bigger than my usual.
I was so excited to get it done and clipped on the bag with her
birthday present that I forgot to sign it!
It's not the first time I've forgotten to sign a card. Oops.
DD said not to sign it so she could pass it on.
Challenges:
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI can see why you fell in love with this stamp Bonnie...what a beautiful image and I love how you colored it with the blues and greens!! I'm sure your daughter loved it and probably had a good chuckle too that you forgot to sign it!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dragonfly image, and you've used it so pretty with the Zigs. I like the outlining in blue, then the coloring in, with the shades of green. The little dewdrops & spatters add a lot of dimension and texture as well. The raised sentiment looks great. Happy Birthday to your daughter! TFS & Hugs

ReplyDeleteI can't believe I missed this gorgeous card, Bonnie! The dragonfly is so beautifully translucent that I can feel the lightness of the wings. I'm delightfully surprised to know that you used Zig Markers to color the stamp and got this wonderful result. I'll try that someday.
ReplyDeleteThe spattering and the clear stones are just right to add movement and show off the dragonfly.
Your DD always knows who made this card even without your signature! :-) Hideko
Oh Bonnie !! This card is amazing !!! Like a beautiful butterfly! I love how you painted it. Unusual colors, great mixing. It made this butterfly as light as the wind that lifts it. What an amazing impression. I love it and I am sure that your daughter will love this card very much.
