Joyful Pink Poinsettia

Hello friends.  I'm so glad you could stop by.

I counted up my Christmas cards the other day and I'm still at least 20 short.
So I need to get some more done.

The challenge at Jingle Belles is
Pink Christmas....for the Cure
This month Stephanie and Lauren are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month.
They want to see pink Christmas cards and will donate to the
Breast Cancer Research Foundation
for every card entered in this challenge.

Kudos to Stephanie and Lauren!

I hope this has enough pink in it.

I think this will fit at the Flower Challenge is celebrating their 2nd birthday!

The camera doesn't show the gold glitter I used for the flower center.
It sparkles really nice on my desk!

I've die cut the poinsettia bloom from a piece of shimmer spray background
and the stem and leaves from some Inka Gold smoosh.

As I write this, we are experiencing Hurricane Michael, now a topical storm.
Heavy rain and quite a bit of wind here but nowhere near as bad as they
had it in Florida.  So much devastation from hurricanes this year!
We are very blessed right here...and looking forward to fall like weather.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Stamps:  Merry Christmas (wish)
Ink:   Encore Gold

  10. The shimmer spray paper is just gorgeous and does shimmer. The inka gold looks great on the leaves. My favorite is the frame over the embossed background that shows off the flower. I've been thinking of you and I'm so glad you are safe. So much damage and loss of life in Florida.

  11. Oh Bonnie...all of your cards are beautiful, but this card may just be my all time favorite that you have done!! I don't know if it's just the way you photographed it, but the flower and leaves look dimensional like you used a stylus on them. And the colors are just gorgeous and the embossed background totally enhances the whole card! Lovely and STUNNING card my friend! Sending prayers your way in the wake of Michael too...you really, really don't need any more water!! Hang in there!!

  13. My mouth is hanging, OMG. Your pink and white bloom look like "émail sur cuivre" so amazingly close! (I think it's called enamel on copper) The shimmer on this flower base is so vibrant too. Like I've mentioned before, I always love the unique framing you accomplish with BRIO on your cards. UNIQUE!!
    Another beauty xx

  15. SO VERY Beautiful Bonnie, love the shape of the flower and the embossing.

I am so glad you are safe, my cousin lives in Clearwater, not sure as yet if she is OK. Awful devastation this year over the world. We are in the middle of a big storm, but nowhere as bad as you, just 60 mile an hour winds and heavy rain.

  16. Bonnie, this is so pretty with that embossed background of snowflakes. Beautiful cards. Glad to hear that Michael has been downgraded to tropical storm. The triplets have been in Florida, but not in Michael's path, thank God. Miss those little people. They come back on Monday.
