Hello
friends.
There’s
still time to join in at CAS Mix Up.
My Mixed Media are: Bokeh, Stenciling, Brusho, Watercolor, Stamping and Die Cutting
This
month’s challenge is hosted by Nancy
Sadly this is Nancy's last post as a Designer for CAS Mix Up.
We will miss her here but we'll still be seeing her over at CAS Stencil.
I pulled out a background using Brusho crystals and sponged white ink through a stencil.
After I die cut a circle for this card, I had a little piece left and used that
as well as the bit of stem I'd cut from the bottom of the flowers and
have a twofer.
I'm also joining in at our new sister challenge
I have sponged with white ink through a stencil.
The CAS Mix Up Design Team, including our fabulous Guest Designer, Viv have
some
more wonderful inspiration pieces for you.
Hope
you'll join in the fun at CAS Mix Up.
Challenge
ends on the 24th.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Bonnie! I am loving that daisy die, daisies are just my favorite, but love all flowers. Your bokeh looks so beautiful in the blues. Loving the twofer too! My favorite though is the daisy one. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBoth are truly beauties. You daisy card is simply my fave. The white against that amazing aqua colour Bokeh just makes those die cuts pop. And of course, your framing is spectacular to me, love it! xx

These are terrific, Bonnie. I love the brilliant blue you chose as a background for your crisp die cuts. Love that the daisies don't even look like paper. They look more like they were formed in a mold. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh Bonnie what a beautiful pair of cards - love the blue and white, and how you have used the off cuts of one card to make a second that looks so planned and perfect

Yes I like the bokeh technique. It looks like flashing lights. Your background is also flickering, and blue, my favorite

ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards Bonnie, love the blues with the crisp white diecuts and the bokeh effect is so pretty in the background, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards, Bonnie! Your first card is so cheery with those sweet blooms and I love how you placed the stems inside your rectangle frame on the 2nd card! Beautiful stenciling on your Bokeh pattern, too...Love them both!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you joined us at CAS Stencil!
What a gorgeous shade of blue you have used for your bokeh background, Bonnie. A perfect background for the pretty flowers, such a clean and fresh look. Thank you for sharing at CAS Stencil!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards Bonnie, love the bright colour combination on your daisy one - the white with the blue is so crisp showing off the bokeh effect beautifully, just love that daisy die and the yellow centers making it a real eye catcher... I love using the left over bits and your gorgeous die cut is perfect with the blue Brushos/Bokeh background
ReplyDeleteBonnie, your first card is very cheerful and the blue Brusho Bokeh background and the white crisp daisies are so pretty! The second card is so refreshing. You used the left-overs so well that I wouldn't have guessed it without reading your explanation. Love your wonderful CAS design.
