Hello friends.
There’s still time
to join in at CAS Watercolour Challenge.
This month’s
challenge is hosted by my friend Susan
I've used this serene stamp by Serendipity, stamping with Versafine Onyx Black.
I let the ink dry for a while then watercolored with Distress inks smooshed
onto a palette and picked up with a water brush and painted onto wet paper.
If you look close you can see that the tree branches have been glossified
with some Nuvo Crystal Glaze for an icy look.
Unfortunately my sympathy stash is getting low.
The Design Team,
including our fabulous Guest Designer, Janet have
some more wonderful
inspiration pieces for you.
Hope you'll join
in the fun at CAS Watercolour.
Challenge ends on
the 24th.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Beautiful Bonnie, one of my favorite Serendipity stamps :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, water colored sky you created using this stamp which is one of my favorites. I love the versatility of it. The pink in your sky is just fabulous. Now if only I can work up the nerve to watercolor it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card for a sad occasion. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to your 2019 posts!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Winter scene you've created Bonnie!! I love that Serendipity image you used (in fact, it's one that I bought with my gift certificate from them) and you've water colored it just beautifully!! Lovely, lovely card my friend! :0)
ReplyDeleteReally gorgeous <3

Beautiful serene card Bonnie...love it! xx
ReplyDeleteVery wintery looking, Bonnie. Too bad winter is so cold because it can look beautiful just like your card.
ReplyDeleteBonnie this is stunning. I struggle so much with sympathy cards and I too have needed too, too many the last 2 months. This is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is so peaceful and serene. I love the stamp and the way you water colored it, Bonnie. That soft horizon is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect sympathy card, Bonnie! Love the soft colours and the peaceful feeling to the card. Thanks so much for making a card for the challenge I'm hosting.
ReplyDeleteNice card. I would not have thought of that image as one for a sympathy card, but it is perfect. You did a nice job on it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning card Bonnie! It is calm and serene, perfect for a sympathy card. I love scene you used and your watercoloring sky is just beautiful and frosty looking. Just like the winter skies that we have. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYou sure are adding to your sympathy card list -- I sure hope my name is not on that list anytime soon!!

Blue may be my favourite colour, but LOVE your wintry scene with the pink/grey sky, Bonnie! It’s so different and creative. Beautiful watercolouring as always, xx
ReplyDeleteLovely Sympathy card Bonnie, so serene, your artwork is simply fabulous

This is exactly our winter skies in the evening. Hubby argues that pink in the sky does not exist, yet every time we have one, he dismisses it. This card is special and so appropriately a sympathy one. Beautifully done. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm honored to own this card, Bonnie. The card in the photo is beautiful, but the real one is 100 times more beautiful with the pretty icy gloss and the subtle shades of the watercolored sky. It's so serene, peaceful, and very comforting.
ReplyDeleteMatt and I were wondering how you did the gloss. At first we thought you clear heat-embossed the outline, but only some outlines were glossy. Now the mystery is solved. You did such a wonderful job of tracing the outlines with Nuvo Crystal Glaze that we would have never thought of this being done manually.
Thank you so much again for the beautiful card made with love, my friend.
