I have two Christmas cards to show you today.
First up....
....for Christmas Kickstart, Starry, Starry Night.
A dear, sweet friend sent me this fun star die for my birthday.
I cut it from some really schparkly glitter paper that was in my stash and
popped some of the cut out stars in the openings.
I popped it on a piece of sparkle paper. I fear it's the last of that.
Maybe I'll find some more someday.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum.
Next up....
...for the Jingle Belles Challenge, an inspiration photo (see below).
I zeroed in on the reindeer and all the hanging colors.
Vixen was colored with Twimarkers because they have a tiny point that
works great for tight areas.
Also joining in with Rudolph Days where we can link our Christmas cards from
the 25th to the end of the month with my friend Maureen (Scrappy Mo)
Challenges:
Christmas Kickstart #34 - Starry, Starry night (reindeer, garland, colors)

ReplyDeleteHello friend!
ReplyDeleteLoving both of these beautiful card. The first is so sparkly! Perfect amount of sparkle and the vellum heat embossed sentiment is perfect here.
The second one is wonderful. It has a quirky folk art feel and that banner is superb!!!
Thanks for taking part in the July Rudolph Days Challenge.
Beautiful work Bonnie - Love that starry die cut and how you have used it so spectacularly on this stunning card. The colours on your second card make such a wonderful cheerful card
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings

But a feast for my eyes :-) Two amazing cards, Bonnie. I love how you put together the colors in the first tab. Old gold glitter goes perfectly with the craft base. The sentiment on the vellum does not burden the card, the stars shine beautifully through the velin. I love all that glow. And I love the second card for these fabulous colors. It is as joyful as Christmas.

Twinkling stars, and Reindeer? What a way to start my very hot July day - both amazing, Bonnie!

Fabulous twofers. The sparkle in the first is just gorgeous. Your second nailed the inspiration photo brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteThese are two fabulous cards, Bonnie! Love the stars in the glitter paper and love the way you dropped the sentiment on the second card. These are both real show stoppers!
ReplyDeleteWow from very sparkly to very colourful, two fabulous cards! I especially like the wood grain on the second one. One more tip if you try a slider card - make sure you use at least 1/8” foam tape between layers to allow for movement. Have fun! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely Christmas creation with us at the Rudolph Days Challenge.
