When I saw that the Flower Challenge was asking for brown and pink, I thought
it would be a perfect opportunity to try coloring on colored cardstock.
I stamped using Memento ink and a new to me stamp that was one of my
winnings from Kathy Racoosin's last 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
Coloring was done first with a white Caran d'ache Supracolor pencil and followed up
with shades of pink.
There are some gorgeous cards by the Design Team and in the gallery over there.
Be sure to take a peek and maybe join in.
Challenges:
Flower Challenge #48 - Brown & Pink

ReplyDeleteWOW! You hit one out of the park with this one, Bonnie. Your coloring is superb!!! Your use of white adds a glow to this and once again you make me want to run and get this stamp! I studied this for a long time since often times pink is hard to shade but you nailed it!
ReplyDeleteA real stunner of a card Bonnie. Love the tone of the card stock and Wow to your colouring...It looks amazing x.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I could reach right into my PC screen and pick that flower and it would smell good...that is how real it looks! The few sequins and the 2 thin frames set it off beautifully. And using a white pencil first rather than bleaching is such a good idea. Have a lovely day, my friend.
