Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I recently shared a photo of a stamped image I did during a Zoom crafting session.
You can see that card HERE.
I got several pulls by spritzing more water and stamping again.
Some will take a bit more tweaking to make it on a card, but I was able to
do a few more cards from these pulls.
Here are two more.
I added some gold Dazzling Details to the centers.
We inked a stamp with VersaMark ink and brushed on some powdered ink.
I used Lindy's Magicals. Then we lightly spritzed the stamp and
stamped on Mixed Media Paper.
Challenges:
Krafty Chicks: Christmas
Penny Black Saturday : Anything Goes: Optional Winter Wonderland. I went with ATG
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Card Recipe
Stamps: Red Delight, Merry Up (both PB)
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Mixed Media (Strathmore 400 series), gold Foil (SU), Neenah
Other: Lindy's Magicals (Autumn Maple Crimson, Ponderosa Pine Olive), Gold EP, Gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine, Gold Dazzline Details
This PB stamp and technique with powdered ink go together well to create terrific looking cards...good for those crunch times when we need to make a bunch of Christmas cards fast
ReplyDeleteJust lovely Bonnie - you're reminded me I need to try this. x
ReplyDeleteTwo more simply beautiful images from your new technique. I love your framing for both cards. TFS my friend. Happy Holidays. Love and Hugs...Nancy

ReplyDeleteMore beauties with that technique, Bonnie - love them both!! Still have yet to try it....
ReplyDeletewow, two amazing cards from the powders. I love the depth of colour on both :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow in the world? I can only imagine it's the Versamark ink that has such a hold on the Lindy's - or the Lindy's that is magical, but I love them all!

Beautiful work with this stamp! I had a lot of trouble with this one getting a distinct impression but you managed perfectly! Love the gold centers you added. I can’t imagine doing this with powders but it sure turned out magnificently!
ReplyDeleteCan you say 'beautiful" too many times? Beautiful cards Bonnie.

These are both SO pretty Bonnie!! LOVE the stamp you used for this technique...it's so simple and works just beautifully!! Hope you're having a great weekend...pouring down rain here and supposedly turning over to snow later tonight! Guess I knew it was coming sooner or later!! Take care. Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThe color stayed so true on both of these and they are so lovely. The cards both look so different by just changing the matting of them.
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful, love the water colouring effect.

Both of those pulls turned out beautifully!! Lovely layering and embellishing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Bonnie! So glad you could get so many beauties out of your attempt
ReplyDeleteLOVE both these cards Bonnie! The design is so artsy looking with the magicals and water. The gold in the centers adds so much beautiful sparkle! xx
ReplyDeleteTwo more gorgeous poinsettia cards, Bonnie! The colors are amazing and the Gold Dazzling Details are echoing the gold spatters. Both designs are wonderful and the Cherry Cobbler matte pulls the color of the flower. Love them both!

Always great to get a few cards from the same technique Bonnie x. Both cards are unique and wonderful x.
ReplyDeleteMore gorgeous poinsettia cards. What an awesome technique to get so many pulls.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love these poinsettias. The stamp coloring technique looks great and I love both versions of the cards. Importantly, in this technique, you can get some great reflections with different colors. This presents so many possibilities
