Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
Have you had your COVID vaccine yet? Things are still pretty tangled up here
with so many people wanting it. Hopefully we'll get ours soon. Meanwhile it's
still staying in and masking up.
Is it sad that coordinating my mask with my outfit is the highlight of my day?
I have some more flowers for Twofer.
I couldn't stop with just one set!
First up is super QACAS (Quick And Clean And Simple)
I die cut this fun flower from a piece of Neenah cardstock and saved that
little outline bit. I used the subtle embossing folder on the cut out piece. A piece of mop up tissue paper went behind the opening and the die cut was attached over top.
There's some prills in the center to add a little more pizzazz.
I'm going to take this to the Inspired By Challenge #157
The colors really jumped out at me!
For my Twofer....
I used a background from my play with my Gel Press.
I was really getting fancy with this one and honestly I don't remember quite
how I did it. There wasn't anybody else in the room, so I must have done it.
I'm pretty sure I had a lot of fun doing this! It's definitely one of a kind!
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Two cheerful looking cards with two very different designs! Ahhh, your creativity showing so well. As always, thanks for the deets.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful shade of blue for your first card and quite fancy for your second one. A great background and I like that diagonal look. I totally understand matching your mask. I have to decide every day what to wear out to the mailbox in front of my house.
ReplyDeleteTwo awesome cards Bonnie! I have that die and don't think I've ever used it...time to get busy! Had to chuckle about coordinating your outfit and mask...I only have one so I guess that tells you how often I leave the house!! But hey...if coordinating them makes you happy, then I say go for it!! :0)
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful Twofer flower cards Bonnie and both such lovely bright colours. This die cut daisy has lots of dimension and love the beaded centre in yellow to complement that wonderful bright blue behind it on the first, and then the super orangy red with white behind which makes a wonderful contrast on the second and a great gelli print as the base. x
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Bonnie, I especially like your Gelli print background and flower :)
ReplyDeleteFab Twofer, Bonnie - just love your designs with that flower!! As for a mask, the cheap fake medical ones sold in packs of 10 work for me - LOL. They match nothing unless your outfit has pale blue.... Not eligible for a vaccine yet and it sounds like it'll be a while here too... Good luck where you are!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards Bonnie - love that red one :)
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Ha! It HAD TO BE YOU! and I'm so happy to see this darling 'daisy' in our IB gallery, Bonnie! So happy you were inspired by the colors this week. Thanks so much for playing cards with us!
ReplyDelete=]
These are great and thanks for making me smile with your last comment. It is such a nice feeling when you end up with something you are very pleased with but not sure how it happened. Don't worry about it, just enjoy. Both these cards are very special xx
ReplyDeleteHa ha - I often don't remember how I did a card or what I used!! Remember the fairy tale "The Elves and the Shoemaker" - sometimes I think there are little cardmaking elves upstairs! Two lovely cards - so nice to see bright flowers in happy colours when they are predicting snow for Vancouver this weekend.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry - you're not the only one who coordinates her mask with her outfit. If I don't do that, I coordinate with the weather (I have one with umbrellas on it, another with snowflakes) or with what I'm doing (I have some horse patterned ones for the barn) - and flowery ones for the summer.
Super cute designs Bonnie. I was approved for the vaccine but still haven't found a place giving them.
ReplyDeleteHugs Diane
Wonderful flower cards Bonnie! Love that sweet daisy, especially with the pretty blue behind it ... lovely colour and lovely texture with the embossed card front. Your geli print card is adorable. Bright and fun with lots of great techniques and fun built in! :) Two beautiful cards, my friend! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat cards and great designs. Love them both. TFS
ReplyDeleteSuper Twofers, Bonnie! Glad you played with your gel press (as far as we know it was you).LOL Glad you got your vaccine. I'm far down the line I'm afraid. Just hope I get it before summer. Virtual hugs!
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful! Lovely colors, and simple design is awesome and amazing. I'm also amazed that the teal is a "mop up"!!! What? My mess cleaners never look this good
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so pretty and both cards are so very different using the same die x. Great use of the mop up too x. No vaccine as yet our end Bonnie x.
ReplyDeleteNope, no vaccine here yet either. Gotta make wearing a mask fun, one good thing about them is that they keep your face warm in the winter cold! lol Love your twofers, they are fun and so cute! Loving that daisy die. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteTwo beautfiul cards.
ReplyDeleteNo vaccine yet. we signed up on line...but they say it could be months till it's avaiable in our area.
AWESOME twofer! I love how you were inspired this week, your QACAS card is so beautiful! Thank you for inspiring us this week @ IB!
ReplyDeleteTwo simply delightful floral cards, Bonnie! Thanks for playing along at IB!
ReplyDeleteDang, Bonnie, I love both cards and they look like a flower shop standing there together! Such a cute die with the outline lifted. Love the colors, and the background on the second card is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove both of these...and I would be hard-pressed to choose a favorite, since they are both favorite colors of mine! Thanks for sharing them with us at IB!
ReplyDeleteI love this die too, but I especially like your approach to the pink and orange, very artsy. The first with those adorable prills is just as fun too. xx
ReplyDeleteLovely twofers. Of course I love the blue, but I love the design of the gelli plate card.
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulously colorful and so happy cards, Bonnie. Such a card will definitely improve someone's day
