Pearly Magic Blossom

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!


The design is a CASE of a card my dear friend Joanna sent me.

This magic flower was done by smooshing some Versamark onto the
die cut then brushing Perfect Pearls over the top.

You can see the shine better here.


The background is from a print making trial.  I ended up adding
some more blobs of watercolor until I was happy with it.

and a twofer for a Golden Anniversary


The bottom flower has been embossed with a glittery gold.  The top flower is cut
from Gold Foil.

Here's a better look at the shine.


I hope this got to it's destination in time...

Two terrific csrds Bonnie and love the first with that pretty watercolour background and the die cuts look great using the Perfect Pearls and a white one just peeping out behind, and then the Golden Wedding Anniversary card with the gold foiled die cut, so shiny and gorgeous, and the pretty embossed background seen through the aperture...also love the gold background card and the pretty added gem. x

  13. Your first card is a wonderful example of CAS mixed media! Love the copper shine on the flower and the gold circles. Great watercolour background. The second card is so elegant and classy - love the layering of the two flowers and the pretty embossed background.

  22. Wow, I love the artsy mixed media card, Bonnie! It does have Joanna's flair. I can't tell where you added blobs of watercolor to the print making background, but it's amazing!
    The contrast between the metallic shine and the organic elements is simply wonderful and interesting!!
    The anniversary card is so classy and elegant. Pairing the glittery gold flower with the gold foil flower is perfect for celebrating the couple's Golden Anniversary!
