My friend Ruthann came to play this week. One of the things we worked on
was the geometric sponged background. Eileen Godwin has done a video showing
this technique.
I used two shades of green for my background then die cut the ornament
from snippets of foil and glitter cardstock.

Love the glitter and foil on this one! I have this ornament and it’s one of my favorite. Never thought to do it like you did. I also LOVE that background stencil, so subtle and perfect for a background. I also love that background technique. Combined this sure does make a beautiful card!

This punch die on a geometric sponge background looks amazing. This is a new version of the old tool and as you can see, the background is very important for the entire receipt of the card.
