Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I had some time to relax with watercoloring.
First up is using the MFT sketch.
I love this MFT stamp and die. It's large enough to get a twofer out of.
I've stamped and embossed onto Mixed Media paper and pressed color
from Distress Inks onto my palette. The embossing helps to keep the color in
the lines so it's doubly relaxing.
My twofer for The Flower Challenge.
After coloring and die cutting, I cut the two sections apart to get this twofer.
The Flower Challenge is asking for turquoise flowers this month.

Wow, Bonnie both of these cards are beautiful. You do such a wonderful job with your coloring. I have this stamp also and I like how you can cut it apart to make two cards.
ReplyDeleteI never seen turquoise flowers so this is a treat. Both cards are gorgeous and I love the flowers peeking out of the frame on the second card.
ReplyDeleteTurquoise is my favorite color so I LUV this twofer. Your coloring is always so beautiful.

ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Bonnie! Those teal shades are fabulous. That particular stamp for my looks wonderful split apart. I rarely use it whole. I might even have cut mine apart.
ReplyDeleteGotta love twofers. These are beautiful, Bonnie! Your relaxed watercolouring is gorgeous. Fabulous designs, too.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards - how great that that stamp / die set makes two cards so easily! I love both your layouts and the turquoise colour is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteFabulous twofer Bonnie and the water colouring in the turquoise looks so very pretty x.
ReplyDeleteThese are some very lovely turquoise flowers, Bonnie! I also like how you kept the leaves a soft bluish green, and the white embossing is always lovely for a soft look. This is a really nice stamp and die combo, beautifully colored and designed.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you that this stamp is great, Bonnie. And when it allows you to create two cards in one job, it is the perfect stamp. I love both cards, but the second card and its hand particularly touched me.

ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards, Bonnie! I especially like the second one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully coloured flower stem and a great idea to cut it in two to make these two wonderful cards Bonnie, and love the embossing behind the flowers on the first, and then the stitched rectangular aperture to show off the flowers on the second, and also the pretty added sparkles. x
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards with that watercolored stem, Bonnie - nice to get two from one image!! Love them both!!
ReplyDeleteOh My GORGEOUS! These are stunning all around, lovely flowers, beautiful coloring and gorgeous colors, Bonnie

I love this MFT stamp too, Bonnie, but I never thought of coloring Magnolias with turquoise. What a wonderful and fresh idea! They look so beautiful and soothing. I also love how you stretched the use of the stamp by cutting the stamped image in half. CASE-ing alert! ;-)
