When I saw the Inspired By Challenge to use scrappy materials from our stash,
I thought it would be a great opportunity to pare down that stash a bit.
I found this piece of corrugated cardboard that paired well with a piece from
last year's calendar. A little string and a leftover leaf in my die envelope made
for a quick and fun card.
Since the owl was watercolored and so was the leaf, I'll add it to the gallery at

I love that you used your artwork from past calendars. I had forgotten about that stamp, one of my favorites and now I need to dust him off again. Great coloring on him. That image worked so well for a fall card too!

Ohhh, that owl! Love him. Love love. Of course, I had to look him up. Now he's on my wish list. I have to quit coming here. If you hadn't made such a cute card with him it might be easier... Love the corrugated kraft and the leaf strung across with twine. Very fallish and certainly a fun watercolor!
