Grateful for You

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!


This stamp has three pumpkins and it's a brushstroke or silhouette stamp.

I tried to make it into an outline stamp and only one of the pumpkins
made the grade!

I used Distress Markers to ink the stamp then added some watercolor by
smooshing ink on my palette and picking up with a waterbrush.

This was my inspiration

Ink:   Weathered Wood, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge, Crushed Olive, Peacock Feathers (DI & DM), Cajun Craze (SU)
Paper:   Mixed Media (Strathmore, Cajun Craze, Textured Gray (?)
Other:  Timeless Texture 3D EF (SU), Linen Thread (SU)

  7. Sorry Bonnie I published it before I was ready..a senior moment..lol. I love the sweet watercoloured pumpkin and it sits so prettily on the embossed rust colour card with the rustic twine and a perfect soft silver background card. x

  8. I have this stamp too Bonnie and it is tricky to color, but I think you've done it beautifully!! Your soft colors are sooooo pretty, and who needs more than one pumpkin when it looks as good as this lovely one does?!! AWESOME card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

  11. This appears to be a hand drawn painting, Bonnie. It's outstanding and makes me want to rush out and get that stamp. What an incredible job you did with this! I looked up the stamp and like it much better with one white pumpkin standing alone! The splatter is the perfect way to finish it off too.
