Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I tried my hand at Stencil Monoprint again.
It still comes out very messy for me.
I have really enjoyed seeing all the crisp prints in the gallery at
CAS Mix Up. Maybe one day, I'll get that result. This time we'll just say
that I was looking for a impressionist look.

Perfect background for the lovely deer. He looks like he is looking at the amazing sky. Fabulous card.

ReplyDeleteYou're doing better than I am, Bonnie I haven't tried it at all! I think it's lovely! A peaceful wintry scene.
ReplyDeleteIt may not be a super crisp stencil monoprint, but it is a lovely background regardless. Fabulous trees and snowbanks, and a beautiful reindeer.
ReplyDeleteI think that turned out fabulously. Such a pretty sky for your scene.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card & a fun technique. Now I'm going to have to try that out.

Beautiful card, my friend! Impressionist prints are beautiful too! :) I love the sky and the layers of glittery snow. The reindeer is so pretty! xx
ReplyDeleteImpressionistic perfection! I love the beauty of the starry sky, its a wonderful backdrop for pretty scene
ReplyDeleteWell I think your stencil monoprint came out great Bonnie! I know I would have a mess on my hands, but still want to give it a try some day. I love the scene you have created, that starry sky is just beautiful to me and your stag....well he is certainly very majestic! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteGreat Christmas monoprint card Bonnie, love all the glitter in your snowy scene.
ReplyDeleteI am convinced that your monorpint stencil looks its best, that a clear print would not make such a big visual impression. Due to the fact that it is not clear, it looks much more interesting, creating this amazing starry sky.
