Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I love the colors of Fall and enjoy using them on cards.
I had long admired cards done with this stamp but missed getting the set before it
was retired. A friend had it and we worked out a swap. I'm so happy we did!
I love the way it stamps.
For this card, I paired it with the Fern 3D embossing folder, added a bit of textured ribbon
and a bow from linen thread. It makes a perfect card for a Fall Birthday!
For this card, I used a layout I'd seen online and added a die cut fern to the background.
I've also stacked the die cut Thankful on the pumpkin cardstock for a bit of contrast.

ReplyDeleteI can see why you were anxious to get hold of this beautiful sunflower stamp Bonnie and glad you and a friend were able to swap so you could have it, and both cards are gorgeous using it. The 3D Fern EF and the die cut fern are both great, and the ribbon and twine embellishments on the first, and then added stamped ferns with the flowers on the second, together with the light and dark peachy tones for the matted layers on both are so elegant and pretty..lovely sentiments too. x
ReplyDeleteIt's my first look at this lovely and I am shaking my head wondering why companies retire such gorgeous stamps! So happy you got your hands on it, Bonnie - LOve the Autumn colors you've chosen for those petals!
