Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
When I was making this card, I stamped this butterfly with black on another piece of
the same patterned paper. Heat embossing made the black really intense!
I decided to set it off the edge of a watercolor piece from my background box.
I added the delicate Airy die cuts and a few black gems to jazz it up.

Just as beautiful as your other card with the white embossed butterfly. Love this one in black with the colors and it looks great on that lovely background.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous in every way.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention that we saw our first butterfly on the island, too? It was a little too far away to identify but it sure did have round wings like your beauty!
ReplyDeleteI must remember to stamp onto patterned paper - it's fabulous as is your card!

Beautiful Bonnie - I sure would like to rummage through your background box. It would be a fun treasure hunt. I do like the background of your creation.

I love the pretty washy background and the striking black, pink and orange butterfly, and finished with those delicate white die cut leaves is just perfect Bonnie. x
ReplyDeleteBeautifully stamped, heat embossed die cut butterfly on your pretty paper, Bonnie. I love how you used your watercolored background from your stash too. I finally got a chance to play with the GO7 technique..alcohol ink on Gelli Plate cardstock technique and ended up with 14 backgrounds:-) So far I have 7 finished card fronts...now to finish all into cards and take photos, etc. Not much crafting time with Spring always being such a busy gardening, etc time of year. A few minutes here and there:-) Love and hugs..Nancy
ReplyDeleteIt's a gorgeous butterfly card! I am working on a few butterfly cards myself right now!!
